About the Workshop

alwaysAI is proud to sponsor a computer vision webinar with special guest, Satya Mallick, CEO of OpenCV. This webinar is for developers interested in learning how to deploy computer vision on depth cameras using spatial AI techniques. Spatial AI is the ability to detect what an object is and where it is in real-time. Some examples of computer vision on depth cameras include assembly line parts identifier using region of interest, robotic item delivery using depth and video, and detecting and localizing objects in the real world.

This webinar is ideal for python developers who have previous experience working with a development board such as a Raspberry Pi or a NVIDIA Jetson, and are looking to implement computer vision on depth cameras for a new or existing project. In order to follow along with the tutorial, you'll need an alwaysAI account, get started by clicking the button below!

Webinar Setup Documents

Before the webinar, you will need to set up your local development machine, your edge device, download the starter apps, and join our discord community. This will not be covered during the walk-through tutorial!

You may use your laptop (Windows or Mac), a Raspberry Pi or an NVIDIA Jetson as your edge device.  And instead of a ribbon camera or a USB camera, you will need a RealSense Camera, Model D415 or D435.
